Reviews
A decent library with a unique structure.
What I like:
The quiet room up in the corner of the second floor.
But I don’t like:
Anywhere aside from the silent room on the second floor the voices echo from everywhere from the first and second floor. Hard to be able to focus since you expect library to be a semi quiet place.
Cannot say enough good things about this place. The book selection is fantastic. If they don't have what you want it's easy to get a book transferred from another branch. The staff for the most part bends over backwards to help you get what you need. There is a great place for young children to browse their books. There are meeting rooms that you can use for studying or having meetings. It's easy to check books in and check books out. There was a time when some of the staff members didn't seem to care about their environment or the patrons but mostly now everyone is welcoming and friendly and helpful. Parking and traffic can occasionally be an issue but that is just a reflection of how well used this library is. And also the fact there is a big church next door that sees a lot of traffic as well.
Nice playground to spend time with kids
Newly remodeled, great features, like self checkout. Latest tech.
The place gets loud at times but just ask the desk for a quiet/ reading area, and they are very friendly and helpful; they will direct you to where you can go. The reading area has a peaceful ambiance with a fireplace and large windows for natural lightings.
My daughter and I come twice a month. Great activities and always a pleasant environment.
My little one loves going to the library every now & then, so we paid a visit to this library on the very first day after the restrictions eased.
I like the playground right behind the library, It was like icing on the cake when we found it.
The parking space is huge with a couple of drive-thru nooks for book returns. It saves a lot of time.
Inside is decent too, I wish there were more recreational activities for the kids in the children section.
The staff is very friendly, the lady at the front desk was nice when I approached her for some assistance around the library.
Plus accessible checkout stations make the process quick.
The staff is amazing and usually pleasant. Always so helpful, patience, knowledgeable
andanvery
Very helpful staff. Nice choice of books. Love the children's section with option for crafting. Behind the building kids can climb and enjoy a small splash pad. Plenty parking options.
If I can give it more than 5 stars I would, not because of the library itself, but because of the staff. Don't get me wrong the library itself is good, but the staff goes over and beyond helping. I returned a school book by mistake, and went there to ask about it, not thinking that I would find it really. After all, they have a ton of books. I didn't find the book, only for two days or so after that, the school calls me to pick up the book from the library! The amazing library associate that I talked to , found it and called the school! Tell me that's not super helpful and kind. Five stars plus !
